They test for a comprehensive range ofcontaminants and would notify those workingwithin the confined space when levels begin toapproach or exceed statuary limits. This allowsworkers to move to a place of safety until theengineers confirm that the atmospheric conditionshave improved to a point where it is safe to resumework. These devices provide a filteredsource of breathing air to a face mask whichincorporates head, eye and ear protection.
