Tickets for our Holiday Beerfest are still available. Get yours now! Stop in or call
Beertopia, a credit card is all you need to purchase them over the phone and you can pick
them up anytime or we can have them on will call ready for your arrival the day of the Fest.
• It's Saturday Dec. 10th from 1-5pm. We will be closed to ticket holders only.
• Your $22 ticket includes a souvenir tasting glass, a program, and 4 hours of unlimited sampling
of 75 different Winter and Holiday Seasonals!
• A limited food menu will be available for purchase.
Mark your calenders for our Extreme Beerfest! This year it will be February 11th at the Tip Top
Ballroom. We will have many craft beer events here and around town on the week leading up to it.

Join us for the Nebraska vs. Iowa game this Friday the 25th. Get out of the house and cheer on our
team.
• Kick off is at 11am.
• We will open early at 10:30 and have FREE breakfast with a drink purchase.
• Other specials include $3 Bloody Marys and $2.75 pints of Manager's draft selection to be
announced.
• Penny shots after every Husker Touchdown!
We have a free shuttle buses to CU Basketball games and UNO Hockey games this season. Have a
few beers and leave the driving to someone else, plus save money on parking. The bus drops you off at
the front door so you can avoid a long cold walk from your car. The return ride back to the Moon
leaves 15 minutes after the end of the game. Please remember the bars are closed on Sundays so our
shuttle will not run for Sunday games.
This weeks shuttle bus schedule is...
• Friday the 25th 7:00 CU Basketball game, bus will leave at 6:40.
• Saturday the 26th 7:00 UNO Hockey game, bus will leave at 6:40.
Our monthly Mug Club Party is almost upon us.
• It will be Wednesday, Nov. 30th in the Huber Haus.
• You DO NOT have to be a member to attend but only members will receive 25% off draft beer
and be entered into our prize drawing.
• Good news is you can join anytime! It is $20 for a lifetime membership, you receive a free draft
beer when you sign up and every year on your birthday, 10% off draft beer all the time, 25% off
draft beer every Wednesday, plus receive emails detailing our parties and special offers.
• This Mug Club party we welcome back Schneider Aventinus Wheat Doppelbock to our draft
line up. It is a delicious Weizenbock with light banana, vanilla, wheat and clove flavors. 8.2%

• Prize drawings will be held at 8pm.
Upcoming Tuesday Pint night selections. If you have not been before it is $5.75 for the first one, you

keep the logoed glass with $2 refills all night.
• Nov. 29th is Tall Grass Buffalo Sweat Stout along with a Cask of Sexy Buffalo-Buffalo Sweat
with cherries and coco nibs added.
• Dec. 6th is Wasatch Polygamy Porter
• Dec. 13th is Blue Blood roll out Pint night. Blue Blood is a new brewery out of Lincoln. You
will be able to choose between their American Pale Ale or ESB.
New Beers on tap in The Crescent Moon...
• Sierra Nevada Northern Hemisphere Harvest was first created in 1996. It features Cascade
and Centennial hops from the Yakima valley in Eastern Washington. After harvest they are
shipped wet (undried)-the same day they are picked-to the brewery and immediately added to
the brew kettle while their oils and resins are still at their peak. Excellent hops this year-very
tasty! Don't miss your chance to have a glass. 6.7% ABV and 60-65 IBU’s
• Nebraska Brewing Co. Hop God has made a return. At 101 IBU's and 9% ABV this
crossbreed of a Belgian Tripel and a West Coast IPA is amazingly good. A remarkable explosion
on the palate with spiciness, tropical fruit, and a firm citrus bitterness.
• Weyerbacher Old Heathen Imperial Stout is a rich, velvety and deliciously complex stout.
They use 7 types of malt and 2 hop varieties for this big brew. Roasty flavors of chocolate, a
hint of coffee with a fruity nose and a moderately dry finish are just some of the highlights. 8%
ABV
Beertopia News of the Week....
Another stellar week has arrived. Thanksgiving is the opportune time to start drinking those winter
seasonal beers.
This week we have received several new beers.
• Big Sky Powder Hound is a 7.2% American amber ale. This beer drinks with a nice citric hop
character with a spicy malt backbone. Smooth but bitter finish makes this an easy sipper.
• Sierra Nevada Northern Hemisphere Harvest has also returned to Beertopia in bottles. Like
above, this bottled hop elixir is fantastic, hoppy and loaded with aromas!!
• Nissefar is a winter ale from Haandbryggeriet in Norway. This beer is "categorized" as an
American porter. I think I have to disagree here. This beer is full of figs, stone fruit, brandy,
raisin and so much more. Warming alcohol makes this a delight. I think this is a top 5 beer in
the store right now. Don't miss out on this one as it is limited and of course seasonal.
Stop by the store tonight as we are closed on Turkeyday. We will re-open Friday morning at 10a.m. in
case you need a few more beers to help get through all the in-law dealings!!
