Easter Egg Hunt<br />
On Saturday, April 23 at 11:00 a.m. <strong>Southminster</strong><br />
will hold its popular Easter Egg<br />
Hunt. Children one year old thru 5th grade<br />
are invited. Don’t be late because it will all<br />
be gone by 11:05! If questions, ask Lori<br />
Dierking. (<strong>The</strong> Hunt will take place indoors<br />
if the weather is not fine, otherwise it<br />
will be outdoors. Bring your friends…)<br />
Program Planning �eeds Your Help<br />
Last year we had about 100 kids for the<br />
Easter Egg Hunt. We need candy to stuff<br />
the eggs- (each has to be individually<br />
wrapped) - prizes for children, 3 years—5th<br />
grade and prizes for one– and two-year<br />
olds. (<strong>St</strong>uffed animals, plastic books, etc.<br />
Please check to be sure it is age appropriate).<br />
You can bring to church any Sunday<br />

Combined Birthday Bash a Smash Hit<br />
On March 27th, twelve round tables, each bedecked<br />
with a monthly theme, raised cries <strong>of</strong><br />
admiration as congregants from that Sunday’s<br />
service sat down to eat in <strong>Southminster</strong>’s basement.<br />
Prizes were handed out to children on a<br />
random birthday basis. <strong>The</strong> cakes at the centers<br />
<strong>of</strong> each table were all <strong>of</strong> different flavors,<br />
except for two cheesecakes and those were differently<br />
embellished. Photos <strong>of</strong> the event may<br />
appear in the near future.
