Initially, believers gather in homes; gradually each worshiping group desires a visible presence<br />

in their communities. At that point, new chapels are established. Presently, outside <strong>of</strong> Katmandu<br />

there are eleven congregations with buildings. (Annual Goal $500)<br />

Outreach among the Tibetan people, particularly among Tibetan monks, is challenging. Work<br />

New Zealand<br />

Westside Christian Fellowship ministers to a multicultural urban community in west Auckland.<br />

The church continues to develop creative ministries: marriage courses, parenting workshops,<br />

and holiday programs for students. Funds will be used for advertising, ministry projects,<br />

and a permanent site in the future. (Annual Goal $7,000)<br />

Philippines<br />

Eduardo Viray heads the recognized work <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Church</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>God</strong> in the Philippines. There<br />

are sixteen pastors and four student or lay pastors; they care for thirteen churches and six<br />

house churches. Funds are used to supplement salaries <strong>of</strong> pastors and workers. (Annual Goal<br />

$12,000)<br />

This new project, initiated by Eduardo Viray, targets the various felt needs <strong>of</strong> the families. This<br />

project provides holistic educational approach that will includes seminars in nutrition, family<br />
