Byproviding the time delays on both application and removalof power, no arcing can occur at the connector. NoteA.C.power must be present at the shore line connector inorder to operate the Dynamic DisconnectENCLOSUREThe enclosure is fabricated fromaluminum and contains a cutoutand captive fasteners to mate withthe Auto Eject mounting screws.Providing protection from road dirtand damage, this unit is suggested forall Auto Eject installations in which the mechanism isexposed to the elements or subject to damage.Outline Drawing: 012OPTIONAL RETRACTILE CORDThe retractile cord is a #12 or14AWG, 3 conductor cord with anextended length of 20 ft. The AutoEject connector may be installed atthe other end to make this the idealpower input cable.The Auto Eject WP is a power input connector designed tobe mounted in the side of a vehicle to permit connectinga 12 Volt D.C., 120 Volt A.C. or 250 Volt A.C. shore line.It comes with a weatherproof cover. The cover is springloaded to close, preventing water from entering when theshore line is not connected.A solenoid wired to the vehicle’s starter or dynamicdisconnect is energized when the engine is started. Thisinstantaneously drives the plug from the receptacle. Thissimple reliable device eliminates forever the brokencables which result when drivers forget to remove theshore line before driving away.The Auto Eject, is new and improved and now containssolid connector pins for longer life. This prevents contaminationof the mechanism by road dirt and ensures longreliable life even when mounted in the most severeenvironment. A novel plug detector closes and opens the120 volt A.C. circuit after the mating connector is insertedand before the connector is ejected. This eliminates arcingat the connector contacts and assures long contact life.As with all Auto Ejects, the Super 30 Auto Eject isconnected to the starter circuit so that ejection occurswhen the engine is cranked.BACK WIRE optionFor installation areas that need thewires to come from the rear of theAuto Eject.
