The Oxford Journal of Legal Studies is published on behalf of the Facultyof Law in the University of Oxford. It is designed to encourage interest inall matters relating to law, with an emphasis on matters of theory and onbroad issues arising from the relationship of law to other disciplines. Notopic of legal interest is excluded from consideration. In addition totraditional questions of legal interest, the following are all within thepurview of the journal: comparative and international law, the law of theEEC, legal history and philosophy, and interdisciplinary material in areasof relevance to the law.Each issue contains about four full-length articles, shorter articles andcomments, often on recent developments, particularly in the Commonwealth,review articles and expansive book reviews, and occasionallycorrespondence.
