Over a week ago I wrote you in regard to the article
we would like you to furnish for out magazine,bu I have
not heard from you.
Some one said they th r ught you had gone on a
vacation, so I feel that;^:4l et be the reason I have riot
heard from you, besides I knr'w you are a very busy man.
If it is so you can get to it any time soon or
not please let me know,for it will have to be in the
hands of the printer before very long.
I just cannot make up my mind to ask any one else
to write Mrs. Davis's b&ography after hearing the one
you gave unless you just cannot get to it.

Our Secretary is wanting to give a write u p of the
life of our friend Mrs. Davis in the Chronicles of Oklahoma
Magazine in the near future.
Remembering the splendid tribute you paid her at
the time she was honored by the Memorial Society I suggested
that he get that for it had never been printed.So at
the secretary's request I am writing you to kindly bring
the article up to date and let us nave it.
I know the members of Mrs. Davis family that were
present on the occasion that you gave the tribute were so well
pleased ,and I thought it really could not be excelled by any
one. It was so condensed and told so much which is the kind
of article we would like to see in the magazine.
You will be confering quite a favor by letting
us have the article, or one simelar.

copy of the former address. I did not write a speech but spoke off hand end thereafter
at the request of 're. Eorn or yourself I composed one along the lines given and sent it
