Personnel
AES Alaska maintains a staff of more than
150 employees, including 36 professional
engineers registered in Alaska in process,
mechanical, electrical, instrumentation
and controls, fire and gas, civil/structural,
and architectural disciplines. We have
employees with Project Management
Professional (PMP) certifications.
Our Project Management team follows
procedures based on the current
edition of the Project Management
Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and works
closely with the Project Controls group.
Project Controls provides various project
planning and monitoring services,
including scheduling, estimating,
and budget tracking. Several additional
project support groups within AES Alaska
include document control, procurement,
and quality assurance.
As a subsidiary of Arctic Slope Regional
Corporation (ASRC), an Alaska Native
Claims Settlement Act corporation, AES
Alaska maintains preference for hiring
ASRC Shareholders.
