Greetings from your catholic foundationDear Friends of the Catholic Foundation,The 2008-2009 fiscal-year represented a volatile economy for the Central WashingtonCatholic Foundation (CWCF). Like everyone else, we have watched the world marketsexperience the downward “rollercoaster effect.” We can look back on it and thank Godthat we have survived. Prudent investing along with sensible leadership has kept yourCatholic Foundation serving area Catholics.Since the fall of 2002, the CWCF has given Catholic institutions and others in our areagrants, scholarships and payouts. This past fiscal year we gave away $139,463.12. Wehave given a total of $741,873.75 in grants and scholarships in our short seven years.The CWCF continues to share a vision of a better future for Catholics in CentralWashington. We are not an entity of the Diocese of Yakima. Our sole reason forexistence is to assist Catholic organizations such as schools, parishes, and agencies inBenton, Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Kittitas, Klickitat and Yakima counties.We thank the many supporters for their generosity and kindness to the CWCF.
