J. Griffiths (Prentice-Hall).This course is the first part of the required two semester Electricity & Magnetismcourse for <strong>Physics</strong> majors. E&M is one of the cornerstone courses for physics major. Itis fairly mathematical and can be learned only by practice.Homework, assigned and collected weekly, is a very important part of the course.Most home works are not easy and require students to struggle through the problem. It isquite normal to spend a large amount of time on homework.
