After building snowboard bindings for more<br />
than 20 years now, we’ve seen many products<br />
and inventions come and go. Some of these<br />
products were beneficial to the sport and helped<br />
it progress while others proved to be stupid and<br />
completely useless. At <strong>SP</strong>_<strong>United</strong> we have made<br />
it our mission to produce items that will ensure<br />
your day in the snow is at it’s best.<br />
After many years of developing we invented the<br />
FASTEC system, which we and our worldwide<br />
brotherhood totally believe in. <strong>SP</strong> stands for high<br />
tech bindings with easy handling,<br />

The sLAB series contains the only aluminium<br />
based bindings in the <strong>SP</strong> line. The most lightweight<br />
and persistent aeronautic aluminium is used for this<br />
high-end product. Whilst using the best possible<br />
material is essential - manufacturing technology<br />
combined with the experience and skills of people<br />
is also needed. More than 20 years of manufacturing<br />
experience made it possible for us to create this<br />
outstanding binding base.<br />
Every sLAB base is almost custom-made. It takes<br />
15 working steps for the raw metal plate to become<br />
a binding base. This is then followed by our unique<br />
3-hour-heat-treatment process. After passing several<br />
quality checks another 7 steps are needed for the<br />
perfect shiny sLAB finish on each single base.<br />
Wow! Sounds like a lot to you? Yeah it is, but the<br />
result makes the effort worthwhile - maximum power<br />
transmission at a minimum weight!<br />
Because aluminium can be very tough and hard<br />
we’ve added molded E.V.A. basebuffers and comfortable<br />
E.V.A. ramps with extra toe and heel dampening<br />
zones. - triple dampening tecnology - allows you to<br />
land heavy hits in the most forgiving way.<br />
This unique blend of maximum power transmission,<br />
minimum weight and dampening is the fundamental<br />
key to the unmatched performance, comfort and<br />
durability every single sLAB binding stands for.
