Mixed Team Competition<br />

RULES<br />

The <strong>European</strong> <strong>Shooting</strong> Confederation has the great pleasure to launch a new team mixed competition for<br />

Air Rifle and Air Pistol to be conducted as a test event during the 10m <strong>European</strong> Championships.<br />

1.0 General<br />

1.1 Participants<br />

1.1.1 Countries / Nations<br />

Each <strong>ESC</strong> Member Federation may participate maximum three (3) teams in each event/category.<br />

1.1.2 Categories<br />

� Junior Men and Women<br />

� Men and Women<br />

1.1.3 Teams<br />

1.2 Entries<br />

A team consists of two (2) shooters:<br />

One (1) man and one (1) woman Air Rifle<br />

One (1) man and one (1) woman Air Pistol<br />

One (1) junior man and one (1) junior woman Air Rifle<br />

One (1) junior man and one (1) junior woman Air Pistol<br />

1.2.1 The Team Leader must notify the names of the participating team members to Air<strong>50</strong> Organizing<br />

Committee at least three (3) hours before the competition. Only shooters registered for the regular<br />

<strong>European</strong> Championships are eligible to participate at the “<strong>AIR</strong> <strong>50</strong>”.<br />

1.2.2 No entry fee will be charged.<br />

2.0 Competition Rules<br />

2.1 Events and number of shots:<br />

2.1.1 For all qualification matches:<br />

10m Air Rifle – 25 shots by each shooter (no individual ranking, team results only).<br />

10m Air Pistol – 25 shots by each shooter (no individual ranking, team results only).<br />

2.1.1.1 Random allocation:<br />

The random allocation of team members to firing points may be done either by the drawing of the<br />

lots or with a computer program suited to this purpose.

For the Finals:<br />

The four (4) best teams are qualified for the Finals. The final consists of duel matches without<br />

qualification match result.<br />

2.1.2.2 The women team members must be placed in odd number firing points.<br />

2.2 <strong>Shooting</strong> times (electronic targets):<br />

2.2.1 <strong>Shooting</strong> time for the qualification match:<br />

5 minutes sighting shots<br />

30 minutes for 25 shots.<br />

2.2.2 <strong>Shooting</strong> time for the Finals:<br />

2.3 Ties<br />

1 st stage<br />

1 st team vs. 3 rd team, 2 nd team vs. 4 th team<br />

3 minutes preparation time, followed by 5 shots by each team members.<br />

Commands: Load, Attention, Start<br />

4 minutes for 5 shots<br />

Announcement (total score) at the end of the stage by the chief range officer.<br />

2 nd stage: Bronze medal match<br />

Two (2) teams lost at the first stage<br />

1 minute preparation time, no sighting shot, record shot by each team members, in 45 seconds.<br />

Commands: Load, Attention, Start<br />

Announcement (of combine score of each team) after each shot by the chief range officer.<br />

At 3 points the winner team will be declared.<br />

3 rd stage: Gold and Silver medals match<br />

Two (2) teams won at the first stage<br />

1 minute preparation time, no sighting shot, record shot by each team members, in 45 seconds.<br />

Commands: Load, Attention, Start<br />

Announcement (of combine score of each team) after each shot by the chief range officer.<br />

At 3 points the winner team will be declared.<br />

2.3.1 Team ties will be broken as per ISSF rule (6.14.7.1).<br />

2.3.2 Tied scores after the Finals will be broken by a Shoot-off.<br />

3.0 Results<br />

3.1 Only team results will be entered in the ranking table.<br />

3.2 The result is a total of the two (2) shooters.<br />

4.0 <strong>Shooting</strong> Ranges<br />

4.1 The Qualification will take place at the qualification range.<br />

4.2 The Finals will take place at the final range.<br />

4.3 Special software for scoreboard.<br />

5.0 Awards and Special Prize<br />

5.1 Awards<br />

5.1.1 A Challenge Trophy symbolising the <strong>ESC</strong> “<strong>AIR</strong> <strong>50</strong>” will be awarded to the winning teams (rifle<br />

and pistol).<br />

5.2 Special Prize<br />

5.2.1 A special prize will be awarded to the fourth top teams.<br />

Men/Women team: 1 st 3000 euro, 2 nd 2000 euro, 3 rd 1000 euro and 4 th 300 euro.<br />

Junior team: 1 st 2000 euro, 2 nd 1000 euro, 3 rd <strong>50</strong>0 euro and 4 th 200 euro.<br />

6.0 Approval<br />

6.1 This programme is subject to changes.<br />

6.2 The programme and the conduct of the “<strong>AIR</strong> <strong>50</strong>” is the sole property of the <strong>ESC</strong>.<br />

6.3 All rights are reserved by the <strong>ESC</strong>.<br />

6.4 The <strong>ESC</strong> Presidium approved these rules on July 11th, 2012.<br />
