Inthe 2011 program, we are introducinga Masterclass Series for teachers andarts education practitioners as wellas piloting a work experience andwork placement program. We are alsoreaching out through our Arts Assistsubsidy program to ensure that asmany children as possible, no mattertheir circumstances, can have accessto a <strong>Sydney</strong> <strong>Opera</strong> <strong>House</strong> experiencewherever or whoever they are. Since2004, more than 10,000 students fromNSW government priority-funded schoolshave attended <strong>House</strong>:<strong>Ed</strong> performancesthanks to the Arts Assist program.Bridgette Van LeuvenWhat a privilege and delight to arriveat <strong>Sydney</strong> <strong>Opera</strong> <strong>House</strong> and discover adynamic, committed and innovative teamof educators, producers, managers andartists.
