SECTION 2: SIRE INFORMATION (Stallion Service Certificate) The USLF must have on file a STALLION REPORT from the owner/lessee of the below named stallion. All Lipizzan stallions and mares who produced foals in 1998 and thereafter must be DNA typed in order for their get to beregistered. If thee is a current blood sample of file with UC Davis, the cost is $27 per horse to DNA type the parents. If, forsome unforeseen reason, the sample has been destroyed, the cost is $47 per horse. In some cases, DNA typing by another labmay be acceptable. If the parents are deceased and were only blood typed, then the horse being registered must be blood typedand DNA typed. At the present time, imported horses are not required to have a STALLION REPORT or STALLION SERVICECERTIFICATE filed with the Registration Application. A FULL Pedigree is required as outlined in the USLF’s Rules andRegulations.
