Training methodologyParticipatory <strong>training</strong> methods were used with emphasis on group discussions, plenarypresentations, experience sharing and where possible role plays to make the <strong>training</strong> as learnercentered as possible. The <strong>training</strong> was organized from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm to accommodate thetrading schedules of the trainees. The participants were conversant with Kiswahili hence thetrainers used it in their <strong>training</strong> instead of an interpreter.At the end of the <strong>training</strong>, an exit questionnaire was administered. The trainees also outlinedpractices they would adopt or change in the leadership and management of their milk groupsbased on the acquired knowledge and skills.ii.
