It recognisesexisting experience and builds upon that with <strong>Galileo</strong> knowledge. This makes the course suitablefor agents converting and for those that just require a refresher.Completion of this course will qualify for a <strong>Galileo</strong> sign on to the system and Certificate ofAttainment which will expire after 12 months if not employed by a Travel Agency operating <strong>Galileo</strong>within this time period.Pre-requisites• Important note: This course is not suitable for students that are completely new to the travelindustry; they should instead be attending the <strong>Galileo</strong> <strong>Desktop</strong> Professional.The course will commence with a knowledge quiz and <strong>Galileo</strong> reserves the right to ask anyparticipant to leave if they do not meet the pre-requisites.• Significant and relevant travel software experience, as demonstrated by a certificate oftraining on <strong>Galileo</strong> (accredited College course) or other GDS or airline CRS.• Significant knowledge of industry terminology and procedures.• Significant computer literacy, including familiarity with common MS Windows keyboard andmouse commands.Training Pre-requisite PolicyFailure to meet the prerequisites could result in the participant being unable to maintain the pace ofthe course, which may jeopardise the learning experience of other participants.<strong>Galileo</strong> reserves the right to ask any participant to leave the course.
