Driver’s liCense<br />
Arizona law requires new residents to obtain<br />
an Arizona driver’s license; there is no grace<br />
period.<br />
To obtain a license or permit, you need:<br />
• a previous license or permit and one other<br />
form <strong>of</strong> identification. If between ages 16<br />
and 18, two identification documents, such<br />
as birth certificate and Social Security card<br />
• to pass all required examinations<br />
• to pay the required fee<br />
• to provide a registered road test<br />
• a vehicle that meets insurance requirements<br />
