Excursions and activities during the summer<br />
The summer months offer plenty of opportunities for an exciting stay in and around <strong>Isaberg</strong>.<br />
Here are some examples of what is nearby.<br />
Store Mosse<br />
Store Mosse is Sweden’s largest marshland area south of Lapland, and is<br />
home to unique bird life and unusual flora. Store Mosse has 40 kilometres<br />
of walking trails, of which 2.5 kilometres are accessible by wheelchair.<br />
Golf<br />
We offer good-value golf packages at <strong>Isaberg</strong> golf club (36 holes),<br />
Värnamo golf club (27 holes) and Kind golf club (18 holes), from early<br />
spring to late autumn.<br />
Museums and culture<br />
Museums in the local area include Töllstorp and Hyltén Industrial Museum<br />
in Gnosjö and Gislaved Industrial Museum, for those with an interest in history<br />
who would like to learn about industrial development in the region.<br />
High Chaparral<br />
A Wild West amusement park in the heart of the Småland forests. Western<br />
arena with a fast-paced stunt show. You can also visit the Indians and a<br />
Mexican village in the amusement park. There is also a fairground.<br />
Borås Zoo<br />
Enjoy a day out at Borås Zoo with its recreation park and areas to stroll<br />
near the centre of Borås. There are almost 500 animals and 80 different<br />
species to see in attractive natural enclosures. They include big African<br />
safari animals, as well as animals from Asia and the Nordic countries.<br />
