<strong>BLT</strong> <strong>Travel</strong> <strong>Brochure</strong> <strong>Project</strong>: <strong>Guidelines</strong>Name: _____________________ Country: _________________________<strong>Brochure</strong>: <strong>Brochure</strong> should be on a standard, full‐sized piece of paper OR on a piece of legalsizedpaper (you may use cardstock) Colors: white and any light colors (please, no neon colors) Country’s name should be at the top, and your name and period # need to be on thebottom right corner of the front panel Writing portion: complete sentences – please type on the computer and print inblack ink. Please use a large enough font that can be easily read!Front panel: introducing your country Your country’s name needs to be at the top and your name and period # should beat the bottom Include a political map of your country. You may also use an image of your country.You may write a brief description of your country on the front Be creative… make the front of your brochure appealing and attractive!Middle panel: information about your country You will need a fact sheet including the following information:o Capital cityo Populationo Land area (sq. miles)o Languages spokeno Country’s currency Please include an interesting fact about your country and the current leader Please include the country’s flag on this panelInterior 3 panels: tourist attractions – for the 3 panels on the inside of your brochure, you willneed to describe 3 tourist attractions (1 on each panel) One of your three attractions must be historical important to your country The name of each attraction should be at the top of its panel Please include an image of the attraction and a map of where the attraction islocated in your country You will need to write a description of more than 5 sentences about the attraction(where it is located, its history and importance) and why a tourist should go see it! You will also need to write at least 3 sentences about what you can do at thatattraction.Back panel: list of resources used Please make a numbered list of the resources you used for information.

A list of national tourism websites will be posted onthe Wiki.o WIKIPEDIA MAY BE USED FOR PICTURES AND MAPS ONLY!!!You will be <strong>grade</strong>d on both the written portions of your brochure and the neatness andcreativeness of your brochure.Presentation: Your presentation should be between 2‐4 minutes in length. Remember topractice making eye contact with the audience and speak loudly and clearly.Topics to Cover in Presentation:1. Introduced country and briefly explained choice2. Covered fact sheet3. Named current leader and interesting fact4. Summarized three attractions visited and explain choices
