Junior <strong>Camp</strong>July 7-12The Junior <strong>Camp</strong> is <strong>for</strong> students entering grades 5, 6, 7, and8. A variety of adventures and activities will be offered tomake this year’s camp a memorable experience. Activitiesinclude, but are not limited to, swimming, fun literacyactivities with <strong>Deaf</strong> Education teachers and UT faculty,canoeing/tubing, white water rafting, and a trip to Dollywood(activities are subject to change depending on wea<strong>the</strong>r). Activitiesinclude going to <strong>the</strong> dollar movies, swimming, crafts (on andoff campus), picking berries, and o<strong>the</strong>r “light duty” activities.The application deadline is Thursday, May 30, <strong>2013</strong>.The cost is $25. Do not send money at this time.Scholarships are available.All those who are accepted to camp will receive in<strong>for</strong>mation packetsincluding emergency consent <strong>for</strong>ms, medical examination <strong>for</strong>ms, etc.StaffAll staff members selected are fluent sign language users and are extremely familiar with variousneeds of <strong>Deaf</strong>/Hard of Hearing children and/or additional disabilities.
