Congratulations to thosetwo students.Well done to all the students who attended.Thank you to all the parents and teachers foryour support.Tobacco Legislation Amendment Act 2012The Tobacco Legislation Amendment Act 2012 amends theSmoke-free Environment Act 2000 and bans smoking in the followingoutdoor public places from 7 January 2013:• Within 10 metres of children’s play equipment in outdoorpublic spaces;• Swimming pool complexes;• Spectator areas at sports grounds or other recreationalareas during organised sporting events;• Railway platforms, light rail stops, light rail stations, busstops, taxi ranks and ferry wharves;• Within 4 metres of a pedestrian access point to a publicbuilding; andFrom 2015, in commercial outdoor dining areas.A range of factsheets explaining the new laws are now availableon the website www.health.nsw.gov.au• Children's outdoor playground equipment• Public swimming pools• Spectator areas at public sports grounds• Public transport stops and stations• Entrance to or exit from a public building• Commercial outdoor dining areasLibrary NewsLibrary Opening Times - <strong>Term</strong> OneEvery lunch time Monday to Friday.Students also visit the library during their allocated library time inclass.
