Qualifying Round<br />
Open Division: 18 holes on Friday, August 10 th .<br />
Mid-Am Division (ages 35-49), Senior Division (age 50+): 18 holes on Saturday, August 11 th ; no afternoon starting times.<br />
Saturday Competition<br />
Open Division - Championship Flight (2nd round): low 72 amateurs and professionals combined based on Friday scores. A<br />
portion of the Open Division amatuers who do not qualify for Saturday’s 2nd round (final number determined after<br />
receipt of entries) will comprise one or more flights and will play a 2nd (final) round on Sunday, August 12 th .<br />
Sunday Competition<br />
Open Division - Championship Flight (final round): low 36 amateurs and professionals combined based on 36 hole total scores.<br />
Other Amateur Flights: maximum of 112 amateurs will qualify for Sunday competition (includes Open Division<br />
amatuer contestants who did not qualify for Saturday’s 2nd round). Senior Division (age 50+) qualifying scores<br />
(final number determined after receipt of entries) will comprise one or more Senior Division flights. Mid-Am Division<br />
(ages 35-49) qualifying scores (final number determined after receipt of entries) will comprise one or more Mid-Am<br />
Division flights. The balance of the amateur field may comprise one or more flights and consist of the lowest Open<br />
Division amateur scores not qualifying for the Championship Flight (2nd round).<br />
Players declaring Mid-Am or Senior Divisions are not eligible for Open Division - Championship Flight competition.<br />
The total number of players qualifying for Sunday competition may be adjusted by the Sani Tournament Committee to<br />
facilitate completion of play.<br />
<strong>Golf</strong> Professional Prize Purse: estimated at $4,800 / distribution to final cut players.<br />
<strong>SANI</strong> SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS BANQUET<br />
Friday, August 10 th - 6:30 p.m.<br />
Everyone is encouraged to attend the Sani Scholarship Awards Banquet honoring the high school graduates receiving Herman<br />
Sani scholarships. The cost for the awards banquet is $30.00 per person. Reservations are required which you may indicate<br />
on your entry blank. Checks should be made payable to Hyperion Field Club.<br />

Food and beverages are available at Hyperion Field Club. Hours and locations of service will be identified in the clubhouse.<br />

HYPERION FIELD CLUB <strong>GOLF</strong> COURSE DRESS CODE<br />
All persons on the golf course are required to wear clothing that is acceptable and proper at a private club. Specifically, denim<br />
jeans, cut-off shorts, muscle shirts, and athletic type warm-ups are not allowed on the golf course. Shirts for men must have<br />
sleeves and a collar. <strong>Golf</strong> shoes with metal spikes are prohibited. All tournament players, caddies, and spectators will<br />
be required to abide by this policy and the dress code.

On behalf of the Sani Tournament Committee, welcome to the 63 rd annual Herman Sani <strong>Golf</strong> Tournament. This tournament<br />
has a history for great golf from a field of excellent professional and amateur golfers. In addition to the golf tournament,<br />
college bound students have been recipients of Sani Scholarships each year.<br />
Your entry fee payment must accompany the completed entry form in order to secure a spot in the tournament. <strong>Golf</strong><br />
cart rentals will be available to players and spectators but will be subject to restrictions based upon weather conditions that<br />
may arise. No entry refunds will be made after August 5 th .<br />
All tee times and tournament results will be posted on the internet at www.igolftheworld.com. You are welcome to use any<br />
of the practice areas before your tee time, at no additional charge.<br />
Practice rounds for paid Sani contestants will be available on Monday, August 6 th after 1:00 p.m. at a guest fee rate of<br />
$40 plus applicable sales tax (golf carts available for rental at an additional charge). Practice round tee times for this<br />
date may be reserved by contacting the Hyperion Field Club <strong>Golf</strong> Shop no earlier than 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 1 st .<br />
Practice rounds on any other day prior to the tournament are subject to the guest play policy of Hyperion Field Club.<br />
