Julie C. (Fleischman) Grusenmeyer graduated in 1974 fromTecumseh High School and returned to teach music at her almamater for 30 years. During this time, she directed the choirs, theyearly musical, and middle school bands. She was much belovedby students, staff, families, and the entire Tecumseh community.To keep Julie’s memory alive, community members are seekingyour help to give a yearly scholarship to a graduating senior.The goal is to give the first scholarship in May 2013. Thescholarship will be maintained into the future as long asdonations are available. Monies will be managed through theTecumseh Education Foundation.What is Tecumseh Education Foundation?Tecumseh Education Foundation is a nonprofit 501(3)(c)organization established in 1993. Its mission is to promote andfund initiatives and enhance lifetime partnerships with our students,staff, alumni, and community.What does Tecumseh Education Foundation do?Provides scholarships for Tecumseh High School seniors.Provides mini-grants for Tecumseh Local Schools’ teachers andstaff. These grants are intended for unique projects designed toenhance student learning.
