Diesel Escalation / De-escalation clause :In case of Diesel increase/decrease by minimum of Rs.1/Ltr from the diesel rateprevalent at Tuticorin, the increase/decrease in freight rate will be calculated asper the formula fixed by SIIL.Insurance :Insurance of Tanker is sole responsibility of the transporter.Shortage :The shortage of more than the agreed quantity by SIIL in the contract will bedebited with the cost of material including taxes, freight charges to the transporter.Safety:Considering safety and government regulation on transportation, following normsneed to be followed:For Sulphuric Acid Tankers1. Only registered load will be loaded in all Sulphuric Acid tankers having tankcapacity equivalent to registered load.2. Every vehicle should have tank with thickness of 8mm and SS316L ball valvesize 2 inches with Teflon gaskets3. Drain pipe to be made of MS schedule 80.For Phosphoric Acid Tankers1. Only registered load will be loaded in all Phosphoric Acid tankers having tankcapacity equivalent to registered load.2. Every vehicle should have rubber lining tankers without any internal breach3. Drain pipe to be made of MS schedule 80.Tank InspectionAll tankers (SA/PA) will be checked for thickness and will be permitted if thicknessis 8 mm only for Sulphuric Acid.1. After two years or when its thickness reaches below 5 mm whichever is earlierthe tank will be discarded2. Welding should be proper and tested3. All valves should be of SS Plug type4. All gaskets to be made of Teflon2
