PARKING:Plan to arrive on campus in time to park and walk to the field or the Fine Arts Center. Onceparking is at capacity on campus, additional parking will be available at Switlik Elementary <strong>School</strong>.Shuttle buses will be available from Switlik, from 3:30 p.m. for the outdoor or indoor ceremony thatbegins at 4:30 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. for the indoor ceremony that begins at 7:00 p.m. Pleaseremember that parking is not permitted on the shoulder of Don Connor Boulevard and cars parkedthere will be subject to ticketing.CLOTHING:While lightweight clothing under the gown is appropriate, appearance is extremely important. Shirts,ties, long pants and shoes are to be worn by males, dresses and appropriate shoes for females. Girlsare not permitted to bring purses and are asked to remember that shoes with high heels can createproblems both inside and out.PHOTOGRAPHS:A photographer from Normandy Studio will be taking a picture of each graduate as he or shereceives their diploma. You can then view the pictures on their website,www.normandystudio.zenfolio.com/graduation2012 and place your order with Normandy Studio.FILMING ON JTVPlease be advised that this ceremony will be filmed and broadcast on JTV – Cablevision’s Channel77, archived on our television server at www.jacksontelevision.com and DVDs of the ceremony willbe available for purchase. Visit the JTV website for a DVD order form.ADHERENCE TO <strong>SCHOOL</strong> RULES:If there is any reason to believe that a student is under the influence of drugs/alcohol, he orshe will not be permitted to participate in the ceremony.Misconduct during the final days of school may result in denial of participation in theceremony and seniors on conduct probation through graduation are not permitted toparticipate.Misconduct during the graduation ceremony or during the graduation practices may result inremoval from the ceremony.No large containers, backpacks, or bags are allowed inside Alumni Hall, the graduation area,or the campus grounds.Air horns are a distraction to the formality of the ceremony and are prohibited.Students are encouraged to not bring personal property such as purses and keys. There areno provisions to secure such items.As a reminder, students who will be attending the senior prom on Saturday, June 9, mustattend school on Monday, June 11. Failure to attend school will result in not participating inthe graduation ceremony.We thank you in advance for your cooperation in making this occasion joyous, memorable, safe, anddignified for all members of the Class of 2012.
