All work isfrom the textbook entitled Advanced Mathematics, Houghton Mifflin. The assignment is tobe completed on loose-leaf paper and graph paper when appropriate. You can pick up somegraph paper, if you need to, in room 138 before June 13, 2008. The assignment is to besubmitted in a folder with each assignment clearly labeled. You are to bring the textbook toclass on the first day of school, and I will answer any questions you may have at that time.A test will be administered on the material on the second day of class. This material ismostly a review of basic skills that you are expected and required to have mastered for thiscourse. For all assignments, reading the material and working through the examples will be helpfulbefore starting to do the work. Take notes on each section, and remember all work must beshown. I do NOT accept answers only. This assignment is not lengthy, but don’t wait untilthe last few hours of the summer to start. I also DO NOT recommend you start this in June.It is intended as a refresher in September since we will not be reviewing, so August is agood time to complete this work.AP Calculus is a very demanding course, and you will be expected to keep it at the top ofyour list of priorities.
