“Puss In Boots” AuditionsBy Steve TwilleySecond Street Players will hold open auditions for its children’s dessert theatre play “Puss In Boots”on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 5 pm and Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 7 pm at Riverfront Theatre, 2 S. Walnut Street,<strong>Milford</strong>, Delaware. The show will be performed on Friday, Feb. 15 at 7 pm and Saturday, Feb. 16and Sunday, Feb. 17 at 1 pm.“Puss In Boots” is directed by Timothy Free, who most recently was the production manager forSecond Street’s “Willy Wonka.” Roles in “Puss In Boots” are available for adults and children, ages 9and up. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. No preparation or previous theatreexperience are required. The complete rehearsal schedule will be established based on cast and crewavailability.Written by Vera Morris, “Puss In Boots” delightfully retells the classic story of Tom, the miller’s son,who is left his father’s cat as an inheritance. The cat is no one’s fool and promises that if Tom getshim a pair of boots he will make his fortune.
