All about meHello, my name is Miss Morris. In a few weeks it will beMrs Whately-Smith as I’m getting married! I completeda History degree at the University of Lancaster and,after spending a year as a TA in a school in North Wales,decided teaching was the career for me. I did a PGCE atMMU and moved to Essex to begin my career. 2 years on,I’ve moved to Swindon with my future husband and I lovemy new job at Shaw Ridge!Favourite Artist: My favourite artist is Monet. I love hisHaystacks series as they explore warm and cool colours.My favourite musical artist is Robbie Williams. I thinkhe’s a brilliant entertainer and he has a really good senseof humour. All my childhood and teenage dreams cametrue this year as I was finally able to go and see him inconcert!First Job: My first job was at a coffee shop and delicalled Vernon’s near where I grew up. I had lots of fun

talking to people and making sandwiches. I also learnt alot about cheese! The only bad part of the job was that Ihad to wear a straw boater hat. I did not look cool!Favourite subject at school: My favourite subject atschool was History and I went on to study History atLancaster University in 2006. I love learning aboutpeople from the past and imagining what their lives musthave been like.Favourite Place: My favourite place is Farndon inCheshire. It’s the village I grew up in and where myparents still live. I will also be getting married there. Ihave lots of excellent memories in Farndon (with more tobe added soon!) and it will always feel like my true home.
