Wound care products will be shown and a company representative with anegative pressure machine (a wound vac) will demonstrate its use.Best Practices for Wound Care – Part TwoSpend a half day at Bert Fish Wound Care Center. Day and time coordinated during PartOne of class by student and Preceptor for 3 hours of continuing education credit.Instructor: Kathy Jowers, RN, CWON, CHRNTuition: $30.00Opportunity to observe in this outpatient clinic the care of patients with chronicwounds—pressure, venous, arterial, traumatic and diabetic ulcers. Hyperbaric oxygentherapy chambers will be in use by patients.Location for Both Classes:Bert Fish Wound Care Center at 601 Palmetto Street is across from Bert Fish MedicalCenter, 401 Palmetto Street, Downtown New Smyrna Beach. If coming from I-95, takethe exit for New Smyrna Beach, State Road 44. Follow it east-bound over the overpass

If you are coming South on U.S.1, turn left onAndrews Street under the overpass and take it until you get to a stop sign at PalmettoStreet. Take right. Hospital on your left.
