Industriesare also invited to offer additional events, which, however, should not be in parallel to the official events of the Congress, andmust be subject to the approval of the Congress.Faculty DinnerDate: March 19, 2009 19:00-21:30Venue: TBAExhitbition Rules, Regulations, and ConditionsBooth Allocation/Acceptance policiesExhibit space will be confirmed on receipt of a signedapplication form with initial deposit (to be followed bypayment in full by the date specified), and, acceptance bythe Congress Secretariat. Booths will be assigned on a“first come-first served” basis. Receipt of the applicationform by the Congress Secretariat shall not confer any rightto subsequent approval.The required signature of an authorized signing authority,shall be biding on the exhibitor and shall expressacceptance of all conditions of the exhibition.The Congress management reserves the right to accept orreject an application and to assign space other than theapplicant’s choice on the understanding that if the exhibitordoes not accept such a change or relocation withinfourteen (14) days of notification, payment for space will berefunded in full without interest, prejudice or any furtherrecourse.Booth RegulationsAssigned exhibit/display space must be staffed at all timesthroughout designated exhibition hours.No background may be placed to obstruct, block orinterfere with the lighting or visibility of an adjacent booth.Asile space may not be used for exhibit purposes or forsolicitation of business.Distribution of materials outside the booth is expressly forbidden.Distribution of samples, etc. is permitted providing it doesnot interfere with an adjoining <strong>Exhibitor</strong> and is conducted ina dignified manner. Noise makers, flashing lights or anyaction which, in the opinion of the congress management,may be a source of annoyance or danger to the health orsafety of others will not be permitted. A list of samplesshould be submitted to the Congress Secretariat prior tothe commencement of the congress / exhibition.The <strong>Exhibitor</strong> shall not close or remove the exhibit until theconclusion of the entire exhibition, unless otherwisedirected by the Congress Secretariat.Prizes, raffles or contests, unless conducted under theauspices of the Congress Secretariat are expressly forbidden.Distribution of refreshments or other products forconsumption, not manufactured by related to the activitiesof the exhibitor, are subject to the general rules andregulations governing the use of the BICC.No signs or other articles are to be fastened to the walls,drapes, ceilings, etc. The use of drawing pins, scotch ordouble sided tape, nails, screws, bolts or any tools ormaterials which could mark the floor or walls is strictlyprohibited. NOTE: Removal of such marks will be done by thestaff of BICC with full liability and cost borne by the exhibitor.Roberts, or other remote control devices must operate onlywithin the exhibitor’s space.10


China InterventionalTherapeutics (CIT)The exhibitor shall be responsible for all damage tostructures, furnishings, etc. which may be caused by theirrepresentatives, employees or guests.Touch-ups of exhibits, etc. must be done in such a manneras not to deface or damage any property of BICC. Properprecautions must be taken, otherwise repairs and cleaningwill be carried out at exhibitor’s expense.Notification or all exhibits not in accordance with boothregulations and any proposed structural changes must beforwarded to the Congress Secretariat for written approvalprior to Feb. 28, 2009.<strong>Exhibitor</strong> RegistrationAll exhibitors must pre-register representatives prior to theopening of the exhibition.A maximum number of complimentary exhibitor’s badgeswill be supplied as follows: 8 badges for the exhibition areaon or above 27m 2 , 2 badges per standard booth or 9m 2 for theexhibition area less than 27m 2 .Official registration badgesmust be worn by exhibitors at all times during the exhibition.<strong>Exhibitor</strong>s’ badges entitle following benefits: exhibitions,opening ceremony, closing ceremony, shuttle bus to andfrom the Congress hotels, coffee/tea breaks.Fire Regulations<strong>Exhibitor</strong>s are required to comply with the following fireregulations. Failure to doing so could result in your boothbeing dismantled by the fire department and beingimposed a fine.For booth construction, only non-flammable materials maybe used. The distance between your booth and the wallsof the Exhibition Hall should be no less than 0.6m. Mixingof varnish and usage of gasoline or alcohol in the exhibitionarea are prohibited. Pressure vessel, lamp with hightemperature such as iodine-tungsten lamp, high-pressuremercury lamp, and electrothermal apparatus such aselectric iron and electric cooker should not be used withinor near the exhibition area.No smoking is permitted in the exhibition halls.Insurance<strong>Exhibitor</strong>s are advised to purchase insurance and toensure that exhibits and personal belongings are issuedagainst fire, theft, breakage and other risks which mayarise during transportation and exhibition.The organizer will not be held responsible for any loss ordamage experienced by the exhibitor.Payment for Exhibition SpaceNo exhibitor may begin booth construction or move theirexhibits into the hall or surrounding area until full paymenthas been received by the Organizer.Removal of WasteDuring the installation and dismantling period of theExhibition, the aisles of the Hall must not be obstructedwith packing and construction materials or debris.Contractors building Raw Space Booths or booth interiorsare responsible for removing their own building waste andoff-cuts from the site at the end of each day.At the end of exhibition, contractors must remove from thesite all the materials especially the double-sides carpettape used from their clients’ booths.The Organizer reserves the right to charge the <strong>Exhibitor</strong>concerned for the removal of excessive waste (boothconstruction debris, crates/pallets, cartons, packing orliterature)Damage and Dilapidation<strong>Exhibitor</strong>s are responsible for the cost of making good orreplacing any damage or dilapidation to the exhibition hall,whether caused by themselves, their agents, contractorsor by any person employed or engaged on their behalf bysuch agents or contractors.<strong>Exhibitor</strong>s occupying standard booths are also responsiblefor the cost of making good, any damage to thecontractor’s stand structures, floor covering, light fittingsand any other hired items, whether caused by themselves,their agents, contractors or by any person employed orengaged on their behalf by their agents or contractors. Thecost of damages and losses will be stated by the relevantcontractor and charged to the <strong>Exhibitor</strong> concerned.Subletting Exhibit SpaceSubletting exhibit space is not permitted.
