CHA4A<strong>Valves</strong> <strong>for</strong> CO 2 <strong>Systems</strong>INTRODUCTION<strong>Hansen</strong> <strong>Technologies</strong> offers a broad line of products <strong>for</strong>CO 2refrigeration systems. Products include pressureregulators, solenoid valves, check valves, stop/checkvalves, suction stop valves, float switches, liquid levelcontrols, strainers, shut-off valves, hand expansion valves,sight glasses and pressure/temperature transducers.<strong>Hansen</strong> pressure regulators and solenoid valves are ideallysuited <strong>for</strong> typical CO 2 refrigeration systems. The valves canoperate with little or no lubrication. The Teflon piston ringsare self lubricating and will tolerate fine dirt better thanlong skirted pistons or metal piston rings. Float switchesand VLT liquid level transducers are especially designed<strong>for</strong> CO 2 systems working up to 600 psig (41 bar g).All valves are tested to 600 psig (41 bar g) safe workingpressure and painted yellow <strong>for</strong> easy identification.
