EXCLUSION OF PUBLIC <strong>AND</strong> PRESSThe Committee resolved, under Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government(Scotland) Act 1973, to exclude the public and press from the meeting for thefollowing items of business on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure ofexempt information as defined in paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 7A to the Act.107. CONSIDERATION OF POSSIBLE SUSPENSION OF TAXI/PRIVATE HIRE CARDRIVER’S LICENCEThe Committee considered exercising its power of suspension under Paragraph 11of Schedule 1 to the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 in respect of theundernoted Taxi/Private Hire Car Driver’s Licence, and having heard the Council’sSolicitor and Committee Administrator, the Head of Licensing Police Scotland (FifeDivision) and the licence holder’s Solicitor thereon, dealt with the licence as shown:-LicenceholderMr. Adnan Azam,Glenfoyle,Auchtertool.Type and No. of LicenceTaxi/Private Hire Car Driver’s LicenceNo. 7804/0023348DecisionThe Committee agreed to suspend the licence until 22nd April, 2014, this being theunexpired portion of the duration of the licence.
