Indicator lamp will illuminate.2) Allow HOT BOX 15 minutes to reach optimaltemperature. Use of extension cords may requireadditional time. Be careful when using extensioncords. Arrange so cord will not drape over countertopor tabletop where it can be tripped over accidentallyor pulled on by children or pets.3) Finely cut or grind herbs for best vapor results.4) Place herbs into Wand and pack down onto screenthru narrow end of Upper Wand piece with either theend of the tubing or other utensil that will easily fitinto the open end of the Wand. Refer to coloredindicator mark on Wand as guideline. DO NOT fillWand more than 1/3 of the way up from thescreen. Doing so may cause charring or burning ofthe material. Excessive packing is a waste of material.5) When ready to use, hold Wand against the tip ofthe glass heating element and begin to inhale throughtube. The Wand does not slide over glass heatingelement. DO NOT use excessive pressure whenmaking the connection or glass may break. DO NOTUSE BROKEN GLASSWARE. Vaporizingproperly takes some practice. You will need to adjustyour inhaling rate to learn what works best for you.Moderately paced, smooth draws work best. Theslower you draw, the higher the temperature of the airpassing through the material in the Wand.6) If used properly you will not see anything passingthrough the tube as you inhale. Be careful of drawingtoo much vapor as this may cause excessive coughing.You will know the device is working properly if youexhale a white vapor cloud. CLEAN AND PURE!!Mix the herbs in the Wand between each draw. Youwill get 2-6 draws per fill depending on amount usedand moisture level of the herb. It is recommendedthat you add a drop or two of water to dry herbs.Proper use should result in intense flavor and lack ofsmell.AROMATHERAPY INSTRUCTIONS1) Slide aromatherapy attachment over glass heatelement (If piece doesn’t fit properly, return either tostore it was purchased from or mail to Hot BoxVapors for replacement).2) Fill the Oil chamber 1/3 full with the oil of yourchoice thru the hole near the base of the handle of thearomatherapy attachment. Do not fill chamber toofull. Replace oil frequently for best results.3) Clean oil chamber between uses with cotton swab.HOT BOX MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONSMain Unit: inspect the power cord occasionally tomake sure it is not damaged.Screen: Replace 5/8” screen in Wand as often asnecessary. This will vary depending on usage.To remove the screen:1) Pull the Upper piece of the Wand apart from theLower piece.2) From the top, push the screen out of the Upperpiece of the Wand3) Place new 5/8” screen in through bottom openingof the Upper piece of Wand.4) Roll black O-Ring onto upper portion of theLower piece of the Wand. (O-Ring placementdepends on how tight the pieces fit together).Connect the Lower & Upper Wand pieces.2) RemoveScreen 4).O-RingUPPER WAND LOWER WANDPIECE PIECE3) ReplaceScreenTubing: Replace every 2-3 months depending onusage. You can clean it out by running it under hotwater and using a skewer to scrape out the inner wall.Wand: It is recommended that you clean the glassWand when the interior becomes brown from usage.Pull Wand apart and scrape out bottom piece with askewer or other tool.
