- Free drops cannot exceed 25% of the troupe registration if not selected. Anyadditional drops will incur a $40 fee per drop.- Schools that are being considered for performance should register theirtroupes as if they will be performing, however, they must also indicate to theregistration chair any changes they might want in their registration (if notextended an invitation) by Dec 1 st . Selection will be announced December 7 ,2013. If a troupe is not extended an invitation those changes willautomatically be made at the announcement with no late charges incurred bythe troupe.- Schools that are invited to perform must submit a complete guest pass list(Including First and Last names) by Dec. 10 th , but is highly recommendedthat you have a guest list prepared. No Guest Passes will be made after thisdate.- All Main Stage performances at <strong>State</strong> will be adjudicated for ITF with saidadjudication application and fee arranged by MST. In the event you areextended an invitation to perform at ITF it is the troupe's responsibility topay for any additional costs incurred in performing there (including but notlimited to: registration, production costs, etc.).- When creating a show to be adjudicated, show MUST be created to travel.Please keep that in mind when designing the show as well as the fact that itwill be performed in a foreign space, please plan accordingly. This is aquestion on the adjudication form and if the adjudicators do not feel asthough your show can travel well, it could cause you to not be selected.- Both the Ferrara Theatre in St. Louis and the Music Hall in Kansas City areUnion Houses and therefore will use their own judgment when deciding ifstudents are capable to run the technical elements of the performance, pleasekeep this in mind when designing the technical aspects of your show.UNION CONTRAINSTS- The only people allowed in the theatre during load in, set-up and load out arethe directors and students. You may not bring in outside help to set up yourshow. In order for MST to comply with the Union contract.- If your show has a special effect that the Union deems as unsafe you will NOTbe allowed to use it within your show. MST will support the final decision ofthe Union.- Load-in will be from 8 AM to 9 AM- Set Up will be from 9 AM to 11:30 AM- One Hour Union Lunch Break 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM
- Rehearsal / Additional Set-Up 12:30 PM to 2:30- House Opens 2:30- Performance 3-5:30 PM- One Hour Dinner Break 5:30-6:30 PM- Set Up 6:30-7:30 PM- House Opens 7:30 PM- Performance 8 PM-10:30- Strike 10:30- 12:00- Possible Staggered Union break 10:30-10:45 PM- All shows must be completely out of the space by midnight. All time and feesafter the midnight hour are the responsibility of the troupe and will beinvoiced accordingly.TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS- Gels and Gobos will not be provided by the theatre space, if you want eitheryou must provide your own.- Additional lighting requirements such as moving instruments or spotlightsneed to be requested on your application, so MST can determine additionalcost. Additional cost will be invoiced to the performing troupe accordingly.We will let you know the cost as soon as possible to let you decide what isappropriate for your school. You will not be permitted to bring your ownequipment.- MST will provide 12 body mics through SWANK. If more are needed we willneed to verify that your mics are compatible with their system. This is aquestion that is also in your paperwork.- The lighting and sound board are provided by the facility and you do notneed to bring you own.- You MUST completely fill out the show spec sheet as it pertains to the showyou are having adjudicated as part of your completed application. Please notethat any question left unanswered or vague could result in your show notbeing selected.- Your show can be no longer than two and half hours in length includingintermission.- Shows will have two performances: a 3 PM performance and an 8 PMperformance. House will open 30 minutes prior to start time.- Productions are not allowed to screw or drill into the deck.
