T B SNew Combi Controllerand Surge Controller:Effectivesurge protection„Made by OBO“Small in size, big in performance:The new OBO Combi Controllertype V 25-B+C is a compact lightningand surge arrester of requirementclass B and C to DIN VDE0675 Part 6 (A1/A2). The devicewas developed specially for use indwellings (to VDS 2031). If the buildinghas an external lightning protectionsystem (to DIN VDE 0185Part 100), the Combi Controllerensures effective and safe lightningprotection potential equalisation.The V 25-B+C is also capable ofprotecting buildings connected toan overhead power line. The deviceis designed to dissipate the highlightning energies that may occuron an overhead line in the event ofa direct lightning strike.Because of its low protection level(< 900 V) and its varistor-baseddesign,the Combi Controlleris also well suited to filtering anddiverting transients (short-term voltagesurges) from power supplylines.A significant advantage of the deviceis its compact design.
