The airport is the base operation for both privateand commercial helicopters and fixed wing aircraftoperators, and is operational 24hrs per day, 7 days aweek. The <strong>Yorkton</strong> <strong>Municipal</strong><strong>Airport</strong> is the busiest airport in the southern part <strong>of</strong> theprovince after Regina.In comparison to other cities the size <strong>of</strong> <strong>Yorkton</strong>, such asNorth Battleford and Swift Current, annual movements atthe <strong>Yorkton</strong> <strong>Airport</strong> are 4-5 times greater.
