The company isequipped to build customised boilers of up toten metres in width and 40 metres in length.Increasing demand from many sectors, thequality of the products and the proximity tothe customer resulted in continuous growth.Most recently, with the integration into theViessmann Group, sales in the European andAsian markets have been boosted.Individual solutions forinternational marketsThe worldwide marketing activities of theViessmann Group are securing continuedgrowth and are also leading to newapproaches from within HKB. As a resultof the alliance with Mawera it is now alsopossible to realise powerful biomass systemswhich generate steam and hot water whilstkeeping CO 2emissions to a minimum.Benefits of a harbour linkMajor customers such as power supplyutilities and the chemical industry are oftenlocated next to navigable waters, to allowfor large amounts of fuel to be delivered atlow cost. Furthermore, industrial/commercialboiler systems require large amounts of freshwater and feedwater.
