Under Florida law, the home addresses, telephone numbers, Social Securitynumbers, and photographs of certain individuals are confidential and exemptfrom disclosure provisions of Florida's public records law (s. 119.071, FloridaStatutes).Answer YES to this question ONLY IF you belong to one of the followingcategories:former or current law enforcement officers; district court of appeal judges, circuit courtjudges, or county court judges; personnel of the Department of Health whose duties areto support the investigation of child abuse or neglect; personnel of the Department ofChildren and Family Services whose duties include the investigation of abuse, neglect,exploitation, fraud, theft, or other criminal activities; personnel of the Department ofRevenue or local governments whose responsibilities include revenue collection andenforcement or child support enforcement; firefighters certified in compliance with s.633.35; state attorneys, assistant state attorneys, statewide prosecutors, or assistantstatewide prosecutors; human resource, labor relations, or employee relations directors,assistant directors, managers, or assistant managers of any local government agencyor water management district whose duties include hiring and firing employees, laborcontract negotiation, administration, or other personnel-related duties; and the spousesand children of these individuals.EVEN IF YOU DO NOT QUALIFY FOR THE EXEMPTION AS DESCRIBED ABOVE:Section 790.0601, FS, makes the personal identifying information of any concealedweapon licensee or applicant confidential and exempt from disclosure provisions ofFlorida's public records law EXCEPT IN THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: (1) we havethe express written consent of the applicant or licensee or his/her legally authorizedrepresentative to disclose information; (2) we receive a court order showing good causefor the disclosure of that information; or (3) we receive a request from a lawenforcement agency in connection with the performance of that agency's lawful dutiesand responsibilities.
