START YOUR WEEK OFF RIGHT
WITH HEALTHY MONDAYS!
At the Heilbrunn Center, the
Healthy Mondays program includes
free blood pressure check ups, like
this one administered by Nursing
professor and registered nurse,
Esther Brill.
The time for New Year’s resolutions may
seem long past – but the chance for afresh
start is always here.
That’s the idea behind “Healthy Mondays,”
the new campaign being waged by leading
supporters of public health. The Harriett
Rothkopf Heilbrunn’32 Academic Nursing
Center, located in the WRAC, is bringing this
program to Long Island University’s Brooklyn
Campus.
For help getting your week onto the right
track, try any of the free offerings at the
Heilbrunn Center! To find out what you can
do, check the calendar at
www.brooklyn.liu.edu/nursingcenter/calendar.html
or call 718-488-1281.
The inspiration behind Healthy Mondays is described in the column printed
in the December 23, 2007 issue of Newsday entitled “Henican: For auld
lang syneof resolutions.”
