BIOGRAPHICAL DATA ONMARTIN J. (MARTY) KOMSAPresident and Chief Executive OfficerWindsor Family Credit UnionMARTY KOMSA accepted the position of General Manager with Windsor Family CreditUnion in September 1986.Prior to Windsor Family Credit Union, Marty worked with the Bank of Montreal from June1976 to July of 1977 as an Administrative Trainee. From 1977 to 1981 Marty worked withSoo and District of Algoma Credit Union as an Administration Supervisor and BranchManager.From 1981 to 1985 Marty worked as an Employee Relations Officer at Algoma Steel wherehe was responsible for Management Training and Development, Succession Planning andEducation Assistance for 2,000 Management employees. In 1985, he moved to London,Ontario to accept a position with Credit Union Central of Ontario as a DevelopmentManager.In September 1986, Windsor Family Credit Union was $40 million in assets and had justgone through a very extensive merger process when Marty accepted his position asGeneral Manager.Marty and his Management Team worked diligently to ensure that Windsor Familycontinued to provide quality products and services to Windsor Family’s members.Recognizing the leadership provided by Marty Komsa in directing Windsor Family’soperations over the years, in September 1994 Marty’s title and role was changed to ChiefExecutive Officer.In 2001, Marty was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Windsor Familycredit union. This appointment reflected his strong leadership at Windsor family and his

dedication and continued work in the community.Windsor Family has emerged as one of the leading financial organizations in the Windsorarea providing one-stop convenience with a high level of quality products and services.Today Windsor Family Credit Union is a community-based financial organization withassets under administration of over $350 million.Windsor Family Credit Union is seen as a leader and innovator in such areas as the QualityImprovement Process, relationship banking and overall Human Resources Managementwithin the Credit Union System.Marty has been instrumental in positioning Windsor Family Credit union as aninnovative financial organization that now serves over 19,200 members in Windsor,Tecumseh, LaSalle and the surrounding areas. His Leadership will allow Windsor FamilyCredit Union to continue to focus on providing quality financial products and servicesthat make our community the best place to live and work.Although a native of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Marty obtained his Honours Degree inBusiness Administration from the University of Windsor and studied towards his Masters inBusiness Administration through Lake Superior State College. He has completed hisCanadian Credit Union Institute Fellows Designation through the Co-operative College ofCanada and completed his Ontario Management Certificate in Personnel Management.
