Static BypassSwitchThe Static Bypass Switch takes two sources of power at the input andmonitors them continuously to provide the best of the two availablepower source to the electrical load connected at the output. One sourceis used as the master and other as the slave. The load runs normally onthe master and in case of any deviation of voltage and frequency fromdefined thresholds the load is instantly transferred to the slave source toprovide uninterrupted supply to the load. It is based on solid-stateswitch's Silicon Controlled Rectifier (SCR) devices so it has no mechanicalmoving parts and thus requires minimal maintenance.
