In consideration of the acceptance ofthis entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dogjudged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies.I, (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors,governors, officers, agents, superintendents, or event secretary and the owner and/orlessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold thisevent and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKCapproved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injurywhich may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person orthing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or nearany entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability forany such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned partiesharmless from any claim for loss, injury, or damage to this dog. I (we) will pay forany injuries or the replacement value in this event of serious injury to the livestockcaused by my (our) dog. NOTICE TO EXHIBITORSA separate entry blank must be completed for each dog entered. Please use care in clearlyindicating which days, classes, courses (A, B, Instinct, HT or PT) and stock you intend to enterfor each dog.Bitches in season will be permitted to run, but will be moved to the end of the running order inTest Classes. Please notify the Event Secretary if your bitch is in season.Entry fees will be refunded to alternates who decline to be placed on the alternate list. Also,entry fees of alternates who do not participate in the test or trial will be refunded. *MOST VERSATILE COLLIE AT THE 2011NATIONAL SPECIALTY*To be eligible for this award a Collie must participate in at leastthree of the four AKC events offered by the CCA (Breed,Obedience/Rally, Agility or Herding). Sign up for the award at anyperformance event. You must sign up for the award to be eligible,and signup sheets must be turned in to Jim Smotrel by the end ofthe agility trial.The following rules will be used to determine the winner from theCollies that qualify for the award. Note that weighting factors areused in each of the performance events to recognize the increaseddifficulty of the higher level classes.MVC points awarded in theconformation classes have been updated. In the non-BOV classes,points are awarded based on the number of dogs defeated in theclass.
