Procedures for <strong>District</strong> <strong>Copy</strong> <strong>Center</strong> <strong>Request</strong>sAll requests for printing at the district copy center should be submitted via PONY, in advance, to theprinter Mike Pezeur, using this <strong>Work</strong> <strong>Request</strong> <strong>Form</strong>, available at each school. Additionally, the formis available on the district web site, in the Document Repository as a printable PDF file.All <strong>District</strong> <strong>Copy</strong> <strong>Center</strong> <strong>Request</strong>s will be handled on the following priority basis:1. Board of Education policy documents, agendas, board bulletins, etc.2. Central office documents and manuals.3. <strong>District</strong>-wide documents and manuals, student handbooks, staff handbooks, etc.4. Documents and manuals for schools* that exceed their in-house capability.5. Documents and manuals for third party organizations, PTO’s, etc.6. For-Profit Organizations may request copy services for .05 cents per page single side,.10 cents per double-sided page.*To avoid copyright violations, requests to print published materials must be accompanied by written permission fromthe author or publisher.(Publishers and authors typically grant some latitude to teachers on copyright laws for in-class use in limited quantities.Very little or no latitude is given for duplication of workbooks, which are considered consumable materials for annualpurchase. Violations would expose the district to actual and/or punitive damages.)*Do not submit requests for copies of documents in quantities that fall within the capacitiesof your school’s copy machines.*If you use daily or weekly work sheets, they should be produced, as you need them on the copy machinesin your building. Do not submit a year’s worth of handouts to the district copy center.• <strong>Work</strong> requests that cannot be filled by the copy center will be returned via PONY.• Faculty and staff are asked not to communicate with the copy center directly.• All requests must be reviewed, approved and signed by the building principal.• <strong>Request</strong>s to distribute fliers in schools, must be approved by the Superintendent.
