<strong>Bearcat</strong> <strong>Transportation</strong> <strong>System</strong> Policies & Guidelines• Passengers must show the driver a valid <strong>Lander</strong> <strong>University</strong> ID with a shuttle sticker on the ID to boardthe bus. Shuttle stickers are available in the <strong>University</strong> Police Department.• The shuttle is primarily for students who do not have vehicles with transportation from <strong>Bearcat</strong>Village to the main campus.• No amplified radios will be permitted. Headphone/ear buds are required for all iPods and/or similarsources of music.• Smoking is not permitted.No alcohol is permitted. Passengers shall not board the shuttle in an intoxicated condition.• No food or drinks are to be consumed while aboard the shuttle.• No disruptive behavior or inappropriate language is permitted.• The shuttle must follow the designated route and stop at the designated areas. No unauthorizedstops or requests for such stops are permitted.• Pets are not permitted. Service animals are allowed.• Neither <strong>Lander</strong> <strong>University</strong> nor the shuttle bus operator is responsible for articles left on the bus.Items found by the driver will be brought to the <strong>University</strong> Police Department on campus at theshuttle’s origin.Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in the suspension or termination of a student’s abilityto use the shuttle. All violations of the policy will be reported to the <strong>University</strong> Police Department andconsequently to the Vice President of Student Affairs’ office for judicial follow-up.The <strong>Lander</strong> shuttle does not operate when student housing is closed during various holidays, breaks,etc., and during summer sessions. A shuttle map and schedule will be posted on the <strong>Lander</strong> <strong>University</strong>Police Department webpage.
