1. Full-time judges, part-time judges, and retired judges eligible <strong>for</strong> assignment are required to obtain 2.0 hours of instruction<br />
in judicial ethics and professionalism. (Gov. Jud. R IV§ 2(B))<br />
2. Full-time judges, part-time judges, and retired judges eligible <strong>for</strong> assignment are required to obtain 2.0 hours of instruction<br />
in Access to Justice & Fairness in the <strong>Court</strong>s that must be fulfilled by taking a Judicial College course. (effective January<br />
1, 2010.) (Gov. Jud R IV)<br />
3. <strong>Magistrates</strong> are required to obtain 2.5 hours of instruction in ethics (1.0 hour), professionalism (1.0 hour) and substance<br />
abuse (0.5 hour). (Gov. Bar R X)<br />
4. There is no pre-registration or tuition <strong>for</strong> the Judicial Candidates courses. You simply attend the session of your choice.<br />
5. Full-day courses normally consist of 5.5 CJE/CLE credit hours and are from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., unless otherwise noted.<br />
Video Teleconferences normally consist of 2.5 CJE/CLE credit hours and are from 1:00 p.m. - 3:45 p.m., unless otherwise<br />
noted. (Please see the course brochure <strong>for</strong> the approved CJE/CLE credit hours and <strong>for</strong> the course registration in<strong>for</strong>mation.)<br />
6. The Judicial College cannot accept registration <strong>for</strong> courses until the course brochure has been e-mailed or open <strong>for</strong><br />
online registration through Judicial eCademy.<br />
