These programs cover up to 100% ofmilitary rate tuition and fees.Post-9/11 GI BillEmbry-Riddle Aeronautical University participates in the Post-9/11 GI Bill. ThePost-9/11 GI Bill provides financial support for education and housing benefits toindividuals with at least 90 days of aggregate service on or after September 11,2001, or individuals discharged with a service-connected disability after 30 days.You must have received an honorable discharge to be eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill,also known as Chapter 33 (CH 33). The effective start date for CH 33 is August 1,2009. CH 33 allows for three separate benefit payments for most students:1. A tuition and fee benefit paid directly to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Tuitionand fees are capped at $18,077.50 per academic year.2. A monthly housing allowance provided to the service member. Students solely enrolledin distance learning are also eligible for a portion of the monthly housing allowance.3. A book stipend of up to $1,000 per academic year.Yellow Ribbon ProgramEmbry-Riddle Aeronautical University participates in the Yellow Ribbonprogram, which is a provision of the Post-9/11 Veterans EducationalAssistance Act of 2008. Individuals entitled to the 100% eligibility rate(based on service requirements) may receive this funding, which coversall tuition expenses. You may be eligible if:1. You served an aggregate period of active duty after September 10, 2001, of at least36 months.2. You were honorably discharged from active duty for a service-connected disability andserved 30 continuous days after September 10, 2001.3. You are a dependent eligible for Transfer of Entitlement under the Post-9/11 GI Bill basedon a veteran’s service under the eligibility criteria listed above.BENEFITS FOR SPOUSESMyCAAThe Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts(MyCAA) program is an employment assistance programthat provides eligible military spouses with up to $4,000of financial assistance toward certification or associatedegrees in a portable career field and occupation.Embry-Riddle is a proud participant of MyCAA and offersa number of certificates and associate degrees gearedtoward productive careers.
