DB <strong>Schenker</strong> iscommitted to delivering an optimal level of protectionthrough the development of a security system aimed atpreventing any type of vandalism in its facilities, offeringa TAPA* FSR** certified logistics network across Europe.USBAll terminals of DB <strong>Schenker</strong> <strong>Land</strong> Transport are KAS subject todefined security standards that contain among others securitymeasures such as alarm systems, fences, and closed-circuittelevision (CCTV). Vehicles are, for instance, equipped withGPS positioning units, door locks and sensors, alarm systemsARMconnected to an incident intervention AZ service (Eurowatch).TMSelected secured parking sites are available exclusively forDB <strong>Schenker</strong> vehicles.GOHighest security requirementsIn addition, DB <strong>Schenker</strong> mobility, an IT tool for monitoringand processing incident information, has been implemented.On top of that, a range of selected terminals have been equippedand certified according to the highest Freight SecurityRequire ments FSR A-level of the TAPA EMEA***.Having started with the certifications according to TAPA’sKIRFreight Security Requirements (FSR) in 2004, DB <strong>Schenker</strong>pro-actively responds to the raising number of criminal incidentson high-tech and high-value goods in the logistics chain.The FSR are instructions for securing buildings, equipmentand procedures of the forwarding industry to ensure the safeand secure in-transit storage and TJ warehousing of TAPA members’assets.
