ONLINE REQUESTS FOR SEARCH CERTIFICATES AND CERTIFIED COPIESOF TITLES AND DOCUMENTS NOW AVAILABLEAs of Monday December 3, 2012, the National Land Agency will introduce the following two (2)new services for your convenience.1. Receive requests for and delivery of Certified Copies of titles and other documentselectronically.2. Receive requests for and delivery of Search Certificates electronically.To access these services, you must first have a Deposit Account at the Land Titles Division. Ifyou are not yet the holder of a Deposit Account, please request one in writing via a letteraddressed to Ms. Sophia Williams, Registrar of Titles, National Land Agency, 93 Hanover Street,Kingston. This letter should then be delivered to the Business Services Unit, 23 ½ CharlesStreet, Kingston.Once your deposit account has been created, please make lodgements to that account via anacceptable method of payment to the cashier (cash, manager’s cheque, debit/credit card).Requests for search certificates and /or certified copies will be processed from the depositaccount balance. Deposit account holders will receive a monthly statement updating them onthe status of their account.In order to request a certified copy or search certificate, please complete the standardized form(this form can also be downloaded from the NLA website at www.nla.gov.jm) and fax to us at948-9513 or scan and email to asknla@nla.gov.jm.When filling in the form, be sure to:· enter the title number (our unique identifying reference)· enter the details of the land or document that you would like to find out about· enter your own details into the applicant fields· specify product type and method of deliveryThe completed item will be delivered to you by email, fax or hand delivered upon request.
