Moreover, these solar tools are basedon a single universal frame, meaning that when a new type of connector is launched, a new die set is allthat is needed, without investing in a complete new tool.Universal <strong>Crimping</strong> Frame type PEW 12All crimping tools <strong>for</strong> <strong>Solar</strong> applications byRennsteig are composed of a standard frametype PEW 12, a die set, and a locator (orpositioner). These are available separately, or incomplete kits (see next page <strong>for</strong> kits).The Universal <strong>Crimping</strong> Frame PEW 12, which canbe used also <strong>for</strong> crimping a wide array ofconnectors with wire sections between 0.08mm2and 95 mm2 (32 to 2/0 AWG), guarantees theexecution of precise connections every time.• Parallel jaw compression (both sides ofconnector are crimped equally);• Maximum leverage with minimum manual ef<strong>for</strong>t due to specially designed mechanism;• One- or two-hand operation with all sizes of conductors;• Two-component grip minimizes fatigue and risk of slippage.The Universal <strong>Crimping</strong> frame is supplied with burnished finish.
