Center Manager, USO Warrior Center<br />

Landstuhl Regional Medical Center<br />

Description/Job Summary:<br />

Th e Center Manager will manage all aspects of the<br />

day-to-day operations of the center to ensure fi rst-class<br />

support of wounded / injured / ill service members at<br />

LRMC.<br />

Responsibilities/Duties<br />

• Provide active leadership in procurement and<br />

growth of fi nancial and other in-kind resources<br />

necessary for center operations.<br />

• Recruit, supervise, train, develop, and recognize<br />

staff and volunteers.<br />

• Oversee the successful planning, coordination,<br />

and execution of daily morale-enhancing programs<br />

within an established budget.<br />

• Seek, develop, maintain, and improve relationships<br />

with the US military and with persons, organizations,<br />

and groups that support the center’s many programs.<br />

• Ensure that the center always remains clean, safe,<br />

welcoming, and well-maintained and that all assets<br />

are functional and up-to-date.<br />

• Prepare, review, and deliver fi nancial, operational,<br />

and statistical reports within established deadlines.<br />

• Interact with patients and familiarize them with the<br />

center and its many off erings.<br />

Required Qualifi cations:<br />

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or related fi eld.<br />

• 3-5 years experience in a supervisory role. Ability<br />

to eff ectively manage, lead, motivate, mentor, and<br />

develop employees and volunteers.<br />

• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.<br />

• Demonstrated initiative/self-motivation, attention<br />

to detail, and organizational and time management<br />

skills.<br />

• Demonstrated profi ciency in written and oral<br />

communications as well as knowledge of various<br />

soft ware programs including but not limited to<br />

Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.<br />

• Willingness and ability to regularly work<br />

non-standard hours (late evenings, holidays<br />

and weekends).<br />

• Must be a strong advocate of the USO’s mission<br />

to support active duty military and their families.<br />

• Public speaking experience is preferred.<br />

• Must be able to lift and carry items weighing<br />

up to 50 pounds.<br />

• Must have USAREUR driver’s license.<br />

Medical Center.<br />

• Preference will be given to local candidates<br />

within commuting distance.<br />
